Volunteer Service Award Scholarship
The Junior League of Lubbock (JLL) is pleased to offer a $2,500 Volunteer Service Award Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to a female high school senior who has demonstrated an exemplary commitment to voluntarism.
The criteria for selection are as follows:

Female
-
High School Senior
-
College-bound in the fall of the award year (to either a two-year college or four-year university)

Resident of Lubbock, Lamb, Hale, Floyd, Crosby, Garza, Lynn, Terry or Hockley counties

Demonstrated commitment to voluntarism
The Community Impact Council of the JLL will review each application and make a recommendation to the JLL Executive Board of Directors. The final decision will be based on the highest cumulative score based on (1) volunteer activities, (2) demonstrated impact of volunteer efforts, (3) continued commitment to voluntarism and (4) references.
The $2,500 scholarship will be made payable to the college or university to be attended by the recipient.

2021 Deadline
Applications for the 2021 scholarship must be received by Friday, February 26, 2021. The scholarship award winner will be announced no later than April 1, 2021.
