Repeat Boutique
The Junior League of Lubbock began operating its resale store, the Repeat Boutique, in 1985. The purpose of the store is two-fold: to provide good quality used clothing, consignment items and household articles to the community at reasonable prices, and to serve as a fundraising avenue for the League. Items for sale in the shop are donated by Provisional, Active, and Sustaining members, as well as by merchants and other individuals within the community. The membership votes each year to determine where the profits of the Repeat Boutique are best utilized for the community.
The Consignment section includes the latest styles in women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing and household items. New inventory is added every day, and in-store promotions occur weekly.
The resale shop operates with a manager, an assistant manager, a part time sales associate, and a volunteer staff made up of Provisional and Active members.
